What factors influence the final quote?

The final quote is determined by the volume of items, their condition, and the distance we need to travel. We provide a detailed breakdown of all costs once we have assessed your specific requirements. This then gives you full peace of mind, without worrying if anything has been missed.

Yes, we charge an additional fee for services such as furniture removal, heavy lifting, and special handling. These are clearly outlined in our initial quote to ensure you are fully informed of all charges.

What is POPs Waste?
What happens if I need to cancel?

  • POPs are hazardous chemicals (such as older fire-retardant additives) that linger in the environment and build up in food chains, posing risks to human health and wildlife. 

​

  • Common Examples: Mostly found in older upholstered domestic seating and certain electrical equipment components.

​

  • Specific Items: Sofas, armchairs, sofa beds, futons, kitchen and dining chairs with padding, bean bags, floor cushions, and office chairs. 

​

  • Where possible some items may be eligible for donation.

​

  • Under environmental regulations, POPs waste cannot be sent to regular landfill sites or mixed with general everyday rubbish, and because of this a charge is asked at point of disposal. 

We recognize that life is unpredictable. To maintain our high service standards, we ask for 24 hours' notice for any date rearrangements, helping us reassign our crew and optimize our daily logistics. For a full cancellation a cancellation charge may apply.

How does payment work?

We would always meet with you face to face before any payment is discussed. We would never ask for payment over the phone or ask for any card details online. For safety, and peace of mind, we always send a professional invoice with our business credentials clearly stated.
